Norwegian Potatoes (Frestelse) from Iowa Farmer Today

Adapted from a central Iowa Family recipe at Living History Farms in Des Moines
Ingredients
6 Potatoes1/4. Flour or enough to coat
2 medium onions
3 tbsp butter
1 3 r c heavy cream
Salt and pepper
Instructions
Slice potatoes into match sticks.Toss with flour.
Slice onions paper thin.
Layer in oven safe dish, potatoes, onions, butter.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Pour cream over the top.
Cover and bake until potatoes are tender, approximately 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
Let sit 10 minutes before serving.
