Weight Watchers Au Graten Potatoes
Ingredients
1 serving cooking spray (5-one second sprays per serving)1 tbsp butter
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
2 tbsp flour
2 c. Fat free skim milk
2 lbs uncooked Yukon Gold potatoes, thinly sliced
1 c. Low fat shredded cheddar cheese
1 tbsp salt
Black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Coat 2 qt. covered baking dish with cooking spray.2. Melt butter in lg pot. Add onion and cook until begins to brown. Stir in flour. Add milk slowly. Add potatoes and stir. Bring to a boil. Stir in 3/4 c. Of cheese, salt and pepper.
3. Pour into baking dish. Bake 1 hour uncovered. Cover and bake about 20 minutes more.
4. Change oven temp to broil. Sprinkle remaining cheese over potatoes. Broil 6 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool 5 minutes and cut into 8 servings.
