Tomato Juice
Ingredients
Wash tomatoes. Remove stems and bad spots. Cut into pieces.Put into kettle and press down to make juices. Cook until nice and soft. Stir often so they don't scorch.
Put through sieve to remove skins and seeds. Put juice in blender for a few seconds ( start on stir, then press blend so it does not spill over). Blending makes the juice smooth, and it does not separate.
Put bak into kettle and add 1 tsp salt per quart of juice. Bring to a boil watching closely so it does not boil over.
Put into jars and seal.
