Quass Frozen Sweet Corn
Ingredients
50-60 ears sweet corn ( I fill a large enamel roaster with corn which ends up using at least 50 ears of corn) Orginal recipe called for 36 ears of corn.1 pint half and half
1 lb butter
Instructions
Cut sweet corn from cob and place in large baking dish or roaster.Cut up into this the one pound of butter. Pour the one pint of half and half over this.
DO NOT ADD SEASONING OR SUGAR!!
Bake in oven 1 hour @325 degrees or until you start to see corn bubble. Stir occasionally.
Remove from oven and place pan on ice. Let set on ice until completely cool. Package and put in freezer.
Season with salt and pepper when heated for serving at meal time. Could add a smidgeon of sugar if corn needs it.
