Chicken Noodle Soup from St. John's Church in Arcadia
Very good soup
Ingredients
3 - 46 oz cans of chicken broth4 quarts of hot water
With large roaster at 350 degrees, bring to a boil first. Then add:
3 1/3 lbs cooked,diced chicken meat (2/3 of a 5 lb bag)
2 c. Cut up celery
2 c. Quartered sliced carrots
1 c. Diced onion
1 tbsp pepper
1/4 container Pocahontas chicken base (Erin uses Vegeta)
Instructions
Mix together and cook at 350degrees on roaster until vegetables are done. Simmer at 150 degrees.At ??? Add 1 can of chicken broth. Turn up to 350 degrees to boil.
Then later, add 3 bags of Harrington Amish Noodles and cook until done.
Watch chicken noodle the most while cooking. Add up to 3 quarts of Hot Water after adding noodles to keep from getting too thick. If needed, add up to 3 tbsp of Vegeta for more taster if adding water.
