Paul Pippert’s Popcorn Balls
Dad always helped make these for Christmas as he could stand the hot syrup on his hands when making the balls.
Ingredients
Popcorn Syrup1&1/2 C sugar
2/3 C water
2/3 C brown Syrup (Karo)
1 tsp vanilla
3 tsp butter
Instructions
Boil all ingredients until a thread or string forms off a spoon.Pour over large pan of popped corn. Butter hands and form popcorn balls. Wrap in plastic wrap or waxed paper when cool. Store in cool dry place.
