Deluxe Chocolate Marshmallow Bars
Ingredients
3/4 c butter or margarine
1 1/2 c sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp cocoa
1/2 c chopped nuts
4 c miniature marshmallows
Topping:
1 1/2 c (8 oz) chocolate chips
3 tbsp butter or margarine
1 c peanut butter
2 c rice krispies
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until fluffy. Add flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa to creamed mixture and mix well. Add nuts and spread mixture in 9x13" pan. Bake at 350 degress for 18-20 minutes. Sprinkle marshmallows over cake and return to oven for two to three minutes. Spread with melted chocolate chips, butter and peanut butter, to chich the Rice Krispies have been added. Chill.
