Italian Beef
Ingredients
5 lb boneless rump roast
1 pkg (10 oz) au jus mix (Schilling's)
1 .7oz pkg Italian salad dressing mix (Good Season's)
1 101/2 oz can beef broth (Swanson's) or 1 tsp beef bouillon and 1 c water.
1/2 soup can water
Instructions
Place beef roast in slow cooker; combne au jus mix, sald dressing mix, beef broth and water. Pour over beef. Cover and cook eight hours on low. Potatoes, carrots and onions my be added during the last 2-3 hours. Broth my be thickened with corn starch for gravy.
