Pickled Ham
Ingredients
1/2 c water1/2 c vinegar
1 tsp pickling spices
Boneless ham
Onions, diced
Instructions
Cook and bring to a boil. Pour over ham in glass jar and refrigerate.Used a 4 pound boneless ham and two extra large Texas onions. That made 4 1/2 quarts of pickled ham. I made two batches of brine: 2 1/2 cups of vinegar and 2 1/2 cups of water and filled a loose tea basket with pickling spice, then boiled. Remove from stove and strain before pouring over ham and diced onions in jars.
