Southern Steak Dinner from 1st Congre church cookbook
Ingredients
1 lb round steak
1/4 c flour
4 sm potatoes
4 sm carrots
1 tsp salt
1/4 c shortening
1 med onion
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Instructions
Dredge steak in flour seasoned with salt. Brown pieces slowly in shortening. Then put steak in a Dutch over, add potatoes, carrots and onion. Pour soup over all. Bake 2-3 hrs at about 300 degrees. If it look dry, add alittle water while baking.
