Chocolate Fudge Frosting
Ingredients
1/2 c butter3 (1oz) squares unsweetened chocolate
1 pound powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
3/4 c whipping cream
Instructions
Melt chocolate & butter in the microwave or in the top of a double boiler. In a large bowl, combine powdered sugar, vanilla and 1/2 c of the whipping cream. Blend in the melted chocolate mixture. Add remaining whipping cream, a little at a time, until desired consistency is achieved.Let stand until spreadable (frosting will thicken as it cools).
Note: I used 1/4 c butter and 2 squares of chocolate and less powdered sugar for a 9x13" cake. Still had more than I needed.
