Strawberry Angel Food Dessert
Take this often to Easter dinner. Seems like a Spring dessert.
Ingredients
2 c hot water
2 sm pkg strawberry jello
1 regular container of Cool Whip
1 23 oz container of frozen strawberries
1 Angel food cake
Instructions
Remove frozen strawberries from freezer to thaw. Pour hot water over jello. Stir until dissolved. Stir in strawberries and cool until partially set. Stir in cool whip Break 1/2 of an angel food cake into bits in a 9 x 13" pan. Pour half of strawberry mixture over angel food. Then break up rest of cake & add jello mixture over that. Put in refrigerator to set. Will keep several days
