Butterscotch Pie
Ingredients
2 c brown sugar
2 c water
5 tbsp flour
4 egg yolks, beaten
1/4 c butter
Meringue:
3 egg whites
6 tbsp sugar
Instructions
Mix brown sugar, water and flour. Add butter and bring to a boil. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Pt a small amount of mixture into egg youls and mix. Add to mixture in pan and cook more. Put into baked pie crust. May add meringue or serve with ice cream. gor meringue, beat egg whites. Add sugar 1 tbsp at a time. Bake 10-15 minutes at 375 degrees until brown.
