Cream Pie Filling
Ingredients
3 c milk3 egg yolks
1/4 tsp salt
1 c sugar
3 tbsp flour
3 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp butter
Instructions
Combine all ingredients, except vanilla and butter. Cook until boiling and thick. Stir constantly to prevent burning. Remove from heat, add vanilla and butter. Cool. Pour into cooled pie shell.Variations:
chocolate: add 3 tbsp cocoa
Coconut: add 1 c coconut
Banana: Add 2 sliced bananas
