Buttermilk Pancakes
Ingredients
1 c flour
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tbsp salt
1 beaten egg
1 c buttermilk or sour milk
2 tbsp cooking oil
Instructions
Mix dry ingredients in bow. Combine egg, buttermilk and cooking oil. Add to dry ingredients all at once. Stir to moisten. Batter will be lumpy. Poir batter onto hot, lightly greased griddle. Cook until golden brown. Turn to cook on second side when pancakes have bubbly surgace and slightly dry edges. Makes eight 4 inch pancakes.
