Ingredients

1 German Chocolate Cake Mix
1 (16 oz) bag caramels
1/2 c evaporated milk
3/4 c butter or margarine
1 c pecans (broken up)
1 c chocolate chips

Instructions

Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Pour half of batter into 9 x 13 inch greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 minutes. Melt caramels, milk and butter. Pour over baked cake. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Top with remaining cake batter and bake 20 minutes longer. Cool and serve.
