Swiss Steak
Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs beef round steak, cut into 3-4 pcs1/2 c flour
1 tsp seasoned salt
2 tbsp oil
1 qt canned tomatoes, cut up
1 onion, sliced
1 medium carrot, sliced
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
Combine flour and salt. Pound onto meat. In a large skillet, brown meat in oil. Add undrained tomatoes and onion, carrot, celery and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove lid and continue baking until thickened and bubbly, about 30minutes. Stir occasionally. Serve meat and sauce with mashed potatoes, rice or noodles. I sometimes remove meat and thicken to a gravy.Erin's favorite dinner.
