Joan was my good friend from school. We became great friends with her and Cliff. We went with them on our first trip to Hawaii. This soup is so easy and yummy.

Ingredients

Potatoes
Onion
Celery
Water
Milk
Butter
Cheddar cheese
Salt
Pepper

Instructions

Cook 4 medium russet potatoes with 1 large onion and 3 stalks of celery, chopped in 1 1/2 cups of water. When tender, mash without draining, add 1 tbsp butter and grated cheddar cheese to your taste. Salt and pepper to taste. Can serve with crispy, crumbled bacon on the top.
