Spaghetti Sauce
This is the sauce I made when the kids were little. Before there was such a thing as Prego and Ragu.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp salad oil
1 pkg spaghetti sauce mix
1 1/2 c water
1 can tomato paste
2 cans (medium) tomato sauce
1 small can mushrooms - do not drain

Instructions

Sauté beef, onion and garlic in oil. Stir in water, tomato sauce and paste, sauce mix, and mushrooms. Cover and simmer to desired thickness. Serve over spaghetti pasta.
