Jane Gosch's Caramels
Ingredients
1 c butter2 1/2 c light brown sugar
a pinch of salt
1 c white corn syrup
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
Mix all ingredients together in a microwave safe glass bowl except for the vanilla. Place mixture in the microwave for a total of 16 1/2 minutes; 4 minutes at a time. Stir after every four minutes, then again after the 1/2 minute. Add vanilla and stir. Pour into a buttered 9x13 cake pan.Let cool and cut with kitchen shears and wrap in wax paper.
Very easy and yummy.
