Slow Cooker Root Beer & BBQ Beef Sandwiches
Ingredients
1 (4LB) boneless beef rump roast2 cups BBQ Sauce
1 cup root beer
sandwich buns
Instructions
Place beef roast in slow cooker. Mix 1 1/2 cups BBQ sauce and root beer. Pour over roast. Cook on low 10-12 hours.20 minutes before serving, remove roast. Place liquid in a pan and cook until it reduces and thickens. Add additional 1/2 cup BBQ sauce. While liquid in reducing, shred beef. When liquid is reduces and last of BBQ sauce is added, pour over beef. Serve on buns.
Note: We like to use toasted buns.
