Microwave Caramel Corn
Ingredients
9 oz popcorn or puffcorn
1 c brown sugar
1 stick butter or margarine
1/4 c white corn syrup
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
Combine all ingredients, except baking soda and popcorn, in a 4-8 qt dish. Bring to a boil in the microwave, then cook on full power for 2 minutes. Put popcorn in large brown grocery bag. Pour syrup over popcorn, shake closed bag. Cook on high 1 1/2 minutes . Shake. Cook another 1 1/2 minutes (may need another minute). Pour into bowl and stir to prevent sticking.
