Orange Cream Cake
Ingredients
1 box lemon cake mix1 pkg unsweetened orange drink mix (koolaid)
3 eggs
1 c water
1/3 c vegetable oil
2 (3oz) pkg orange jello
1 c boiling water
1 c cold water
1 c cold milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 vanilla instant pudding mix
8 oz Cool Whip
Instructions
Mix lemon cake, orange drink mix, eggs, 1 c water, and vegetable oil together and mix on medium for 2 minutes. Pour in greased 9 x 13 baking pan. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees until cake is done. Take handle of wooden spoon and poke holes in cake. Cool for 30 minutes.Dissolve 1 pkg orange jello in boiling water and add 1 cup cold water. Pour over cake and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Mix 1 c cold milk, vanilla, and instant pudding for 2 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes. Spread over refrigerated cake. Fold in 2nd pkg of orange jello into the cool whip and spread over cake. Chill before serving.
