Hamburger Casserole with Green Beans (fave)
Ingredients
5-6 med potatoes1 lb ground beef
1 can undrained green beans
4 oz Velveeta cheese or shredded cheddar cheese
1 sm onion, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup (I have also used Golden Mushroom Soup) to which I have added milk to thin the soup a bit. Jim like Golden Mushroom Soup better than the cr of Mushroom soup.
Instructions
Peel and slice potatoes in well-greased baking dish. I use a 8-9” square Season with salt and pepper. Brown ground beef and onions. Drain off fat. Add cheese and melt. Spread mixture over potatoes and add a layer of green beans with the liquid from the can. Spread a layer of soup over all. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until potatoes are done.From CR Food Service Cookbook
