Easy Graham Cracker Toffee
Ingredients
15 Graham Cracker Sheets
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
12 ounces chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil, and spray lightly with nonstick cooking spray. Place Graham Crackers in a single layer, touching, on the large baking sheet and set aside. Preheat oven to 350 F. In a medium saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar together over medium-high heat. Bring mixture to a boil, and simmer for four minutes, stirring constantly. Pour mixture evenly over graham crackers, and bake for 8 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over crackers. Let the chips set for 2 minutes so they have a chance to melt. With a knife or a spatula, then spread melted chocolate evenly over crackers. Sprinkle pecans on top. Let the crackers set for 2 hours or until the chocolate hardens. When the chocolate is set, break the toffee into pieces and enjoy. Makes 20 servings.
