Slow Cooker Honey Balsamic Pork Roast
Try to keep the roast around 2 to 3 pounds. Any larger than that and 10 hours may not be long enough to cook it. We used Lawry's Seasoning Salt instead of salt and pepper.
Ingredients
2 pound Shoulder Pork Roast
Salt and pepper
1/4 cup honey
1 cup beef broth
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon water
Instructions
Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Sprinkle salt and pepper on all sides of the pork roast and place inside the slow cooker. Drizzle honey over the top of the roast. In a medium bowl, combine broth, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder, and when combined, pour over the roast. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. When roast is done, remove juices from the bottom of the slow cooker and place them in a saucepan over medium-high heat. In a cup, mix corn starch and water. When corn starch is dissolved, pour into the saucepan and whisk quickly. When the mixture starts to thicken, pour over roast, slice, and enjoy. Makes 6 servings.
