Lasagna
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
16 ounce can tomatoes
6 ounce can tomato paste
1/3 cup water
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon oregano leaves
1/4 teaspoon pepper
9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
12 ounces Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 pound Velveeta cheese, cubed
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Brown meat and drain. Add onion to meat and cook until tender. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, water and seasonings. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 F. In a 9 x 13 inch pan, place 3 lasagna noodles. On top of noodles, put 1/2 of meat sauce and third of cheeses. Lay 3 more noodles on top of this layer and repeat with the rest the of meat and another third of cheeses. Layer 3 more noodles and place remaining cheeses on top of noodles. Bake for 30 minutes and let stand 10 minutes before serving. Serves 8.
