Cream Cheese Apple Crescents
You can use any pie filling that you choose with this recipe, and our favorite is cherry.
Ingredients
1 can of crescent rolls
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 can pie filling
1/2 stick butter
2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F and grease an 8x8 baking dish. Roll out crescent rolls, pinching seams to seal, and put half of them in the bottom of the prepared dish. Mix together cream cheese, sugar and vanilla extract. Spread mixture on top of crescent rolls. Carefully spread pie filling over the cream cheese mixture. Top with remaining crescent rolls. Melt the butter and pour over the top of the dessert. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture over the top and bake for 30 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
