Baked Chicken Parmesan
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1 egg
3/4 cup Italian Seasoned Dry Bread Crumbs
1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
28 ounces pasta sauce
8 ounces Mozzarella cheese
16 ounces spaghetti, cooked and drained
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 F. In a shallow dish, beat the egg slightly. In a separate dish, combine the bread crumbs and the Parmesan Cheese. Dip the chicken in the egg and then roll in bread crumbs, coating well. Place in a 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Bake uncovered for 25 minutes. Remove the pan from oven and pour the pasta sauce around the sides and a little on top of the chicken, letting some of it show through. Top with Mozzarella Cheese. Return to the oven and bake an additional 10 minutes, or until the chicken is no longer pink. serve on top of hot cooked spaghetti. Makes 4 servings.
