Instant Party Mashed Potatoes
Can be made the night before you plan to cook them.
Ingredients
7 1/2 cups water
3/4 cup butter
2 tsp garlic salt
2 tsp onion salt
16 oz cream cheese, cubed and softened
12 oz can of evaporated milk
16 oz sour cream
15 1/3 oz package of Instant Mashed Potatoes (9 cups)
paprika
bacon, cooked and crumbled
fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Heat oven to 350 F. Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with no stick spray. Heat water, butter and salts in a large saucepan to boiling. Remove from heat. Add cream cheese, evaporated milk and sour cream to water, stirring until dissolved. Stir in potato flakes, mixing well until all ingredients are well combined. Spread potato mixture into pan. Sprinkle with paprika and bake for 1 hour. Top with chopped bacon and parsley. Makes 18 servings.
