VELVEETA Down Home Macaroni & Cheese
Ingredients
1/4 cup butter, divided
1/4 cup flour
1 cup milk
8 oz VELVEETA, cubed
2 cups elbow macaroni, cooked
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
6 RITZ Cracker, crushed (about 1/4 cup)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Melt 3 tablespoons butter in medium saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Gradually stir in milk. Bring to a boil, cook and stir for 2 to 3 minutes or until thickened. Add VELVEETA, and cook for 3 minutes or until melted, stirring frequently. Stir in macaroni. Spoon into greased 2 quart casserole dish, and top with cheddar cheese. Melt remaining butter and combine with crushed crackers. Sprinkle over pasta. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until heated through. Makes 5 servings.
