Cranberry Apple Raisin Pie
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 large apples, peeled, cored and chopped
2 cups fresh cranberries
1/2 cup golden raisins
4 tablespoons butter
2 crust pie pastry
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 F. Prepare 9 inch deep dish pie plate with one pie pastry. Combine sugar, flour and salt in large bowl. Stir in apples, cranberries and raisins, tossing well to coat with sugar mixture. Spoon fruit mixture into unbaked pie crust. Dot fruit mixture with pats of butter. Cover pie with second pie pastry. Trim and seal edges then flute. Cut 3 slits in center of top crust. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until apples are tender when pierced with fork and pastry is golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack. Can be served warm or cooled completely. Makes 8 servings.
