Buttermilk Pecan Pie
Ingredients
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 eggs
3 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoons salt
1 cup buttermilk
Instructions
Sprinkle the pecans over the bottom of the pie shell. Add the sugar 1/2 cup at the time to the butter in a mixer bowl, beating until creamy. Beat in the vanilla. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add a mixture of the flour and the salt gradually and mix well. Mix in the buttermilk. Pour into the prepared pie shell. Bake at 300 for 1 1/2 hours. Serve at room temperature. 8 Servings.
