Swedish Cocktail Meatballs
Ingredients
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1 package onion soup mix
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 egg
1 tablespoon milk
2 pounds ground beef
14 oz jar grape jelly
1 bottle chili sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 F. Place bread crumbs in large bowl and add soup mix, salt, nutmeg and egg. Add enough milk to moisten. Mix well. Add beef and combine. Make 60 small meatballs and place on jelly roll pan. Bake for 15 minutes. While meatballs are cooking, combine grape jelly, chili sauce, ketchup, water and sugar in large saucepan. Heat thoroughly. When meatballs are done, remove from pan and add to sauce. Keep warm until ready to serve. Makes 12 servings.
