Bits O' Bacon Flips
8 ounces crescent dinner rolls
3 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
1/4 cup imitation bacon bits
1/2 teaspoon liquid or melted butter
1 teaspoon bacon bits
Preheat oven to 375 F. Unroll crescent rolls, and separate into 4 rectangles. Blend cheese until smooth, and add 1/4 cup bacon bits, mixing well. Divide mixture into fourths, and spread over the rectangles of dough. Fold one end of strip over 1/3 of length of dough. Fold other end 1/3 up over the first fold. Cut each rectangle into 3 strips. Place 1 inch apart on cookie sheet. Brush with liquid butter and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon bacon bits. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 12 servings.
