Crock Pot Bread Pudding
Ingredients
8 slices white bread, cubed
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted
4 eggs, beaten
2 cups milk
1 cup raisins
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
Place bread cubes into well greased crock pot. In a bowl, mix sugar, melted butter, eggs and milk. Beat until smooth and stir in raisins and nutmeg. Pour over bread mixture. Mix lightly and cook on HIGH for 1 hour. Turn to LOW and cook for 3 to 4 hours more. For sauce, in a medium saucepan combine sugar, butter, flour, water and vanilla. Cook until thick and pour over pudding just before serving. Makes 8 servings.
