Sopapilla Cheesecake
Ingredients
2 cans crescent rolls
16 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup butter, melted
cinnamon sugar mixture
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Unroll 1 can of crescent rolls and separate into 4 rectangles. Lay rectangles to cover the bottom of an ungreased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread dough to cover the whole bottom of pan and pinch edges together. Combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla to a spreading consistency and spread it evenly over the crescent rolls. Unroll remaining crescent rolls and separate into 4 rectangles. Flatten and spread rectangles to a size that will cover the cream cheese and lay on top of the mixture. Spread melted butter over the top of the crescent rolls and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Makes 24 servings.
