Bourbon Pecan Pie
Ingredients
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 cup light corn syrup
3 eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons bourbon
2 cups pecan halves
9 inch unbaked pie shell
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 F. Mix the sugars and the butter in a large mixing bowl. Stir in the corn syrup, eggs and bourbon. Fold in the pecans. Pour the mixture into the pie crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 F. Continue to bake for 25 minutes or until pie is set. Allow to cool completely on a wire rack before serving. Makes 8 servings.
