Barb's Spaghetti Sauce
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
14 oz can diced tomatoes
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp dried oregano
6 oz can tomato paste
24 oz jar of Spaghetti Sauce
2 tbsp ricotta cheese
Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
Brown meat in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic. Continue to cook until onions are soft. Drain off fat. Add diced tomatoes, salt, pepper and oregano. Mix over medium-low heat. Add tomato paste and spaghetti sauce then cover, simmering on low for 15 minutes. The longer the sauce simmers, the better the flavors will mix and the diced tomatoes will soften. Add the Ricotta Cheese to the sauce and mix well. Serve over the pasta of your choice with Parmesan Cheese on top.
