5 to 7 pound brisket
1/2 cup liquid smoke
Preheat oven to 250 F. Place brisket in a 9x13 inch baking pan. Sprinkle all sides of brisket generously with salts, rubbing them into the meat. Pour liquid smoke over the brisket, and then cover with foil. Bake for 5 to 6 hours or until meat is cooked through. Uncover brisket and drain off juices. Pour barbecue sauce over the top of the brisket and cook for 20 minutes more. Slice and serve. Makes 12 servings.
