Museum Winner's Pie
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup all purpose flour
2 tablespoons bourbon
pinch of salt
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans
1 unbaked 9 inch pastry shell
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F and bake pie shell for 8 minutes, let cool. Cream butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour, bourbon and salt, mixing well. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans. Spread mixture in baked pastry shell. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until filling is set. Let cool completely before serving. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream. Yield 8 servings.
