Bean Medley
Ingredients
16 ounce can pork and beans16 ounce can red kidney beans
16 ounce can lima beans
1 medium onion
4 strips bacon
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons mustard
2 tablespoons vinegar
Instructions
Drain beans and set aside. Preheat oven to 350 F. Fry onion with bacon strips, then cut into small pieces. Mix in brown sugar, ketchup, mustard and vinegar. Boil for 2 minutes. Add beans and mix well. Put into covered dish and bake for 1 hour. Stir after 1 hour, and if still juicy, leave lid off and place back into oven for 10 minutes.This can also be put into a crock pot and cooked on low for about 3 hours. Remove lid and then cook on high for one hour.
