Easy Cherry Cobbler
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons baking powder
3/4 cup milk
2 cans cherry pie filling
brown sugar
cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Melt butter in 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Mix sugar, flour, salt, baking powder and milk. Pour over melted butter. Top with cherry pie filling, but do not stir. Sprinkle top with brown sugar and cinnamon. Bake for 50 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Makes 12 servings. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream. Can substitute another fruit pie filling for cherry pie filling.
