Cowboy Beans
Ingredients
1 # bacon
1# leftover hamburger
Small onion
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup catsup
1/2 cup BBQ Sauce
15 ounces butter beans, drained
30 ounces pork and beans
15 ounces red kidney beans
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 F. Cut the bacon into one-inch slices, and cook over medium heat; set aside. Add one pound leftover crumbled burger meat to the same skillet. Add chopped onion from one small onion and cook until soft. Add brown sugar, ketchup, and barbecue sauce. Stir to combine. Add butter beans, drained; pork and beans with their liquid; and red kidney beans with their liquid. Stir to incorporate. Then pour bean mixture into a greased casserole dish and bake for about one hour.
