Raspberry Cobbler
A great recipe for raspberries, and the crust turns out perfect every time.
Ingredients
1 pound raspberries
1/4 cup butter, at room temperature
1 1/2 cups sugar, divided
1/2 cup milk
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup water
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a 9 inch square baking pan with raspberries. Mix butter, 1/2 cup sugar, milk, flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla in a medium mixing bowl to make batter. Pour batter over fruit and spread evenly. Mix water with remaining sugar and pour over batter. Bake for 1 hour. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream. Makes 9 servings.
