French Toast
Ingredients
12 slices bread, thickly sliced
3 eggs
1 1/3 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
Combine eggs, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, salt and brown sugar. Heat a griddle or skillet over medium high and grease with butter. Dunk each slice of bread in egg mixture, soaking both sides. Cook on skillet or griddle and cook on both sides until golden brown. Serve with powdered sugar and syrup. Makes 6 servings.
