Herbed Baby Carrots
Ingredients
16 ounces baby carrots
1 cup water
dash of salt
2 teaspoons butter
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon dried basil
Instructions
Place carrots, water, salt, butter and sugar in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add the basil. Replace lid and let set for about 10 minutes or until crispy tender. Makes 12 servings.
